The Brass industries in Jamnagar were founded in the year of 1945. Over the seven decades of existence, Jamnagar Brass industries have observed ups and downs, till the milestone development in the year of 1955, when import licenses were liberally given to copper and zinc industries, and local technicians could rapidly 'reverse engineer' any particular machine brass parts with the supporting machining and tooling industry.
